How do I use FHS Full-Synthetic Smokeless Motor Oil?

  1. Drain old oil from crankcase. A hot engine drains better.
  2. Flush system (if necessary). Note: Flushing the system may also cause smoke, by loosening deposits instead of removing them.
  3. Replace oil filter with a quality oil filter. No special filter is necessary.
  4. Fill with FHS Full-Synthetic Smokeless Motor Oil.
  5. Let motor run for 5 to 10 minutes and smoke should stop or be greatly reduced.

How much FHS Full-Synthetic Smokeless Motor Oil do I need?

Most 4-to-6-cylinder engines require 5 to 8 quarts for an oil change. However, we recommend you consult your vehicle owner’s manual for the most accurate oil quantity for your particular make and model.

How long should I go between oil changes?

FHS Full-Synthetic Smokeless Motor Oil lasts up to 10,000 miles between oil changes though actual mileage varies depending on vehicle type and usage. We recommend checking your oil regularly as you normally would with conventional motor oil.

Will it affect the oil pump or seals?

FHS Full-Synthetic Smokeless Motor Oil will not affect these automotive systems. However, we recommend oil pumps or seals be examined by an automotive professional during regular maintenance inspections.

Can it be used with other oils or additives?

FHS Full-Synthetic Smokeless Motor Oil is designed to work alone and should not be used with other oil products or additives. It is a complete oil package with all the protective and lubricating properties necessary for your engine. It can drastically reduce hydrocarbon (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO) levels to acceptable/passable emission limits.

Disclaimer:

For oil related smoking problems, FHS Full-Synthetic Smokeless Motor Oil works over 99% of the time. However, proper diagnosis of the source of engine smoke is important, as this oil will have no effect on coolant, fuel, or carburetor related emission or smoking problems.

FHS Full-Synthetic Smokeless Motor Oil should not be used in conjunction with any additive or other motor oils. Mixing other oils with FHS Full-Synthetic Smokeless Motor Oil will cause vehicles to smoke (the non-smokeless oil still burn and create smoke). If sludge buildup is present, a system flush may be required before adding FHS Full-Synthetic Smokeless Motor Oil.
